Belize and Cameroon deposit instruments for the ratification and Japan extends the application of the Multilateral BEPS Convention

Data and research on tax treaties including OECD Model Tax Convention, Mutual Agreement Procedure Statistics, prevention of treaty abuse., Belize and Cameroon have deposited their instrument of ratification for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS Convention), which now covers over 1820 bilateral tax treaties, thus underlining their strong commitment to prevent the abuse of tax treaties and base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) by multinational enterprises.
